In 2012, I gave birth to my first child at home in the care of a midwife and doulas. It was a defining moment and I fell in love with the energy of the birth experience and credit my amazing birth team with my feeling of peace and safety. Before the year was out, I began working as birth doula, helping other birthing mothers. Then, just after a move to a new city, I had twins.

Without family or a support system, I was exhausted and felt I missed a lot of the fun and beauty of my growing family. My passion for helping others and my subsequent experience working with postpartum doulas after the birth of my baby through surrogacy, confirmed my decision to focusing on providing postpartum support.

With a varied background, I enjoy serving families of all shapes and sizes. I love the sense of purpose and connection that comes with helping women after they have given birth and am passionate about providing the postpartum support that they need, whether it be taking care of a baby and household tasks, or acting as a sounding board during that vulnerable time. An engineer by training, I am an organized person who enjoys helping parents find a system and flow that will make their lives easier as a parent. I am also known for being particularly capable and intuitive with the babies.

My passion for helping families during the postpartum period has lead me add Intimacy & Connection Coaching. I feel there is not enough focus and education on something so important, and I am drive to support as many couples as possible to help them with knowledge and tangible tools to keep the flame alive.

When I am not doing postpartum work, I am an outdoor junkie. I revel in spending time in nature with my family, kayaking, hiking, biking, and skiing. I am also interested in all things related to nutrition and is on a quest to find healthy ways to satisfy my sweet tooth.
